Petrol Station Attendants
So I just put petroleum in my car and I seriously wonder whether it's a requirement for the station attendants to be smokers? Is it unreasonable to think this because almost every time I drive past a petrol station I see one of the workers outside having a smoke!
Maybe the petrol stations have a hiring practice of only hiring smokers? Although that seems a little ridiculous and not very plausible in today's seemingly anti-smoking world. Maybe they hire smokers because they can stand the fumes from the petroleum easier than those who don't smoke? Now I'm not generalizing all workers as smokers but I would say a vast majority of the workers are also smokers! I'm not just talking about one or two stations I'm talking about almost every one that I pass no matter which company it is.
Perhaps the reason that so many petrol station attendants are smokers is because they are secretly thrill seekers but they're too lazy to go out and actually do anything. There is always that small risk when they throw the butt of their cigarette that it could hit the smallest bit of petroleum and catch fire and blow up! Maybe this is what draws smokers to work at petrol stations!
Anyway this is a ridiculous thing to write about so perhaps I should just end it here...

Zombies
So I was thinking that every time I see a group of people just standing around my mind automatically wanders to the fact they could in fact be zombies. I have absolutely no idea why I think everyone is a zombie but I do for some reason. It's not just once in a while either, I see people walking down the street at night and I wonder if they're alive or they are the living dead wandering around just waiting to feed on my warm flesh.
I was at Disneyland a few months ago and every night they do a fireworks show. It reminded me of the George A. Romero movie "Land of the Dead" where they refer to fireworks as "sky flowers" and every time they need to distract the zombies they fire them off and the zombies just blindly stare up at the sky. When the Disney show was going on and I was walking around it seriously gave me the creeps because here were thousands of people just standing around watching the sky. Perhaps I've seen the movie one too many times but it was super strange every time....
Maybe I just imagine zombies exist all the time because I love zombie movies! Perhaps it's just that simple!

Blogging While Driving
Before I start I'm being as safe as I can be blogging on my BlackBerry while driving! So I am currently driving right now stuck behind some absolute morons who won't move out of the fast lane on the highway even though they can clearly move over! They are doing exactly the speed limit in the fast lane holding countles numbers of cars up right now because they are too stupid to move over! This is one of my biggest pet peeves when peple don't move over for other cars on the road even though they can! I don't care if you're doing the speed limit, 5 or even 10 km/h over the limit if you can move over then for the love of all things holy, move over!!! I wish I had an eless supply of rotting fish that I could just slap these people with! Perhaps I'm the only one who thinks like this but they seriously just need to be shot!
That's my current rant for this afternoon.

Furniture and Music Among Other Things...
So I haven't really posted in a while mostly because any waking moment I've had on the computer has been reserved for downloading new music and updating my iPod! I must say that right now I'm completely addicted to music and must have it on all the time. (I'm currently listening to Channel 408 "Rave" on my television" and it inspired me to blog.) But seriously, I am in love with music and it's not like I'm picky at all with what I'm listening to, just as long as I can somewhat sing along and it makes me feel something then I'm down with listening to it!
I've come to realise that anything with a good beat and that can somewhat pass for music I can listen to and enjoy! I don't know whether this is a good thing or a bad thing! I think what's driving me is to experience as much music as humanly possible and to listen to everything before I judge it! Some of my current favourites are Italian electro-dance music, Algerian folk music and of course 80s music! Mmmm 80s...
On another note I finally got around to re-arranging the furniture in my bedroom. I know this may seem like a mundane task that isn't very exciting but I get great joy out of simply putting the bed in a different spot and moving the couch and armchairs! I don't really know why it makes me happy but it definitely does to the point where I do it every few months. There are only so many positions that the furniture can go in so it gets interesting sometimes where I put things or whether a certain piece needs to go.

Stupid Television...
So I've been trying to fall asleep now for a while and I cannot because all I can think of is who may or may not get traded today because it's the NHL trade deadline. As I've been watching hockey as of late, TSN and Sportsnet have been going on and on about how this is the Christmas Day for hockey fans...and now it is all I can think about.
I never used to wonder this much about it but for some reason it has me absolutely perplexed to see if anything big is going to happen. Of course I'm interested in seeing if Vancouver picks anyone up, but it has got so bad it's t the point where I'm wondering what New York, Florida and Phoenix are going to do! What is going on! This kind of stuff should not be keeping me awake at night! I blame you stupid television...
Anyway I'm going to put my BlackBerry down for a few hours and try and fall asleep seeing as it is "Christmas Eve"....

Sandy Cohen
So I've been re-watching the OC lately, which I am going to apologize for now because it is just campy rubbish, and I've come to realise that Sandy Cohen is probably my favorite character.
Not only is the character the best on the show by far, he was actually given decent story lines. While the rest of the cast was often given rediculous and perposterous story lines, they actually wrote Sandy like he was a real person. It's almost like the writers based him on their own father (or possibly what they wished their father was like) and that made him all the more realistic and made him easier to connect with.
While the writing was part of the reason I liked Sandy Cohen, Peter Gallagher definitely embodied the character well. I was contemplating other actors who would be able to play Sandy that well and the list was definitely short. Peter Gallagher is a solid actor and as a bonus he's not a bad singer! I did enjoy the episode in season 2 where he sang to his tv-wife Kelly Rowan.
I think the main reason I like Sandy Cohen so much are the constant references to his power eyebrows. This is part of the reason that Peter Gallagher was the perfect Sandy Cohen, the fantastic power eyebrows. Now that I've written about how fantastic Sandy Cohen/Peter Gallagher are, I should probably get back to work/watching the hockey game!

It's almost 4 am, perhaps I should blog?
So I really dislike it when people ask if I am tired... I cannot stand it! I don't know why I started a blog post about this but it is really pissing me off right now. Like, I'm in a bad mood sometimes over various things and someone will want to talk and I just don't feel like talking! If I'm in a bad mood and don't want to talk I just don't want to freaking talk! There is NO need to ask whether I'm tired or not! Even if I'm tired and in a bad mood, 99% of the time my tiredness has nothing to do with my bad mood! I'm not tired right now but for some reason this is pissing me off.
Also, I feel the need to rage about people who like to drive slowly in the fast lane. I cannot stand people who feel the need to drive at the speed limit or under it in the fast lane! That's why the slow lane is there! And then half the time when I pass in the right lane (because Jerks McGee won't move over) they give me a dirty look! While I may be a young driver there is no need to be a jackass! It always reminds me of that classic song by Ludacris "Move Bitch".
Perhaps I should stop complaining about things, although at this current moment at 3:15 am that is what I am thinking about. That and I cannot stop thinking about lobster and crab... perhaps I should eat seafood tomorrow!
I am going to blog tomorrow I have decided. I have it marked in my Blackberry already and it's going to happen. It needs to happen I think... Oh that reminds me that I have add something to my Blackberry before I forget... I love my Blackberry, I think I needed to write that again.
So I'd like to apologize to whomever may read this post as it is pure tripe and a load of rubbish. I'll try harder next time... maybe...who's to say!
Cheers,
